Minutes of Non-Inmate Pre-Screening Spring Session April 02, 2014The Non-Inmate Pre-Screening Spring Session was held on April 02, 2014 at the Board of Pardons and Paroles, 55 West Main St, Waterbury, Connecticut. The following board members and support staff were in attendance:

The Chairperson called the meeting to order at 9:10 A.M. and declared the presence of a quorum. Marjorie Carroll served as Secretary for the purpose of recording and transcribing minutes. The Chairperson recognized the attendance of all present at the Pre-Screening session. The meeting agenda was for the Board to review pardon petitions on the Pre-Screening Spring Session docket dated April 02, 2014 for hearings or Provisional pardon grants.
At 10:30 A.M. the Chairperson moved that the panel enter Executive Session, pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes Section 1-231, for the purpose of deliberation on individual applications for pardon, including matters which are and will be exempt from public disclosure, because of one or more of the following reasons:
1. Discussions of matters which may involve information, the disclosure of which, would constitute an invasion of personal privacy, pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes Sec. 1-210 (b) (2).
Mr. Sabetta seconded. Unanimous.
At 10:40 A.M. upon completion of consideration of the applications, Chairperson Atty. Palmer moved to end the executive session. Mr. Sabetta seconded. Unanimous.

Chairperson Atty. Palmer requested that minutes of the meeting be forwarded to the Connecticut State Library and each pardon applicant be notified of the Board’s decision regarding their pardon petition.
The panel and staff conducted informal discussion regarding future hearings.
There being no further business, the session was adjourned at 10:45 A.M.
