Old Business
Roger provided an update on the Sustainability Plan. There is no new news to report, but the group is contemplating a slowdown of sorts. This was discussed due to the changeover in officers and active members of the groups involved. It was noted that the process seems to be going very slowly already.
Staffing Report
Included in Director’s Report.
Friends Report
Priscilla reported about the success of the Duck Race. She also reminded us that there will be NO BOOK SALE IN JUNE. She also noted that discarded library books WILL be allowed for sale at the book sales.
Foundation Report
None
Trustee Matters
Mike spoke of the Art Show project. It will be a one day only event, time and date has not been set. There was also a short discussion around the Library Palooza that was to be held in July. Not much information is available at this time.
Director’s Report
There currently is a dilemma in regard to the staff and their sick time. The town is insisting that the staff take their accrued vacation time, but to do this, the library would be seriously short staffed. This will impede the proposed recertification timeline created by the Director.
Workers have been secured to do the work in the garden, no date has been set for the start of renovation.
