Regular Council Meeting
Minutes
February 17, 2014
7: 00 p.m.
1) Call to Order: at 7:00 P.M.
2) Roll Call: Tina Sauve X, Christa Domeier X, John Clark X, Mark Leichliter X, Larry Morris A, Ron Richmond X, John Griswold X, Robert Boice X , Liz Spearing X, Marci Kinkade X
3) Pledge of Allegiance
4) Approval of Agenda- 7-14 Boice moved, Richmond 2nd, to approve the agenda, motion carried.
5) Police Report-Chief Mallett went over the monthly report.
6) County Commissioner-Eady spoke about the County adopting an ORV ordinance. He also stated that he is part of the Walk for Warmth that the HDC does every year. There was discussion on the ORV ordinance.
7) Approval of Consent Agenda- Domeier stated that in our Sewer Maintenance bank account that we are now going to be incurring a fee, unless we changed to a non interest bearing account. 8-14 Spearing moved, Griswold 2nd, to switch the Sewer Fund to a non interest bearing account to avoid monthly fees. 9-14 Boice moved, Spearing 2nd, to approve the consent agenda, motion carried.
a) Approval of January 20th Regular Meeting Minutes
b) Acceptance of Treasurer’s Report
c) Approval of Bills to Be Paid
d) Water & Sewer Report

8) Planning Commission-Crawford stated that they had nothing new.
9) DDA
a) Budget-10-14 Boice moved, Griswold 2nd, to approve the DDA budget as presented, roll call vote was taken: Clark, aye; Richmond, aye; Griswold, aye; Boice, aye; Spearing, aye; and Kinkade, aye; motion carried.
10) Council Communications-Sauve stated that next month we will have our budget hearing, which is held right before our regular meeting at 6:45 P.M.
Clark brought up trying to get someone like R&M or Novak in here with a big front end loader to try to move some of this snow. 11-14 Boice moved, Richmond 2nd, to have a company come in and move some snow, up to $2,500.00, motion carried.

a) White Horse Inn-Victor stated that the MEDG grant approval has come through! They are a bit behind due to the weather. Leanne Panduren from Rowe passed out drawings on how to fix the existing drainage problem on the corner. She estimates that if we have the White Horse’s contractors do the job that it would run around $10,000.00 to $12,000.00. Griswold questioned a water issue on N. Oak St.
b) Kirk Patrick-Trees-Mr. Patrick stated that he is backing away from this project.
c) Land Purchase-Nothing new

15) Public Time-Clark thanked Mr. Griswold and The Village Saltbox for donating a very nice, large, clock.
16) Adjournment- 12-14 Richmond moved, Boice 2nd, to adjourn the meeting, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 7:36 P.M.
