Blair Kids Academy Summer 2018 Field Trip Guide

BLAIR KIDS ACADEMY SUMMER 2018 FIELD TRIP GUIDE

June 7th- Skinny Bones Students will use the pedal bikes, jumping pillows, and giant slide and learn details about the planting of corn and pumpkins for fall. We will finish with a picnic lunch outside (please send a sack lunch and water bottle).

June 14th- Lauritzen Gardens We will receive a guided tour of the gardens and conservatory areas. We will have a picnic lunch outside (please send asack lunch and water bottle).

June 21st – Henry Doorly Zoo Staff will divide into smaller groups to guide the students through the many attractions of the zoo. We will picnic outside (please send a DISPOSABLE sack lunchand water bottle).

June 28th – Missouri Valley Aquatic Center Students will enjoy swimming at the Missouri Valley Aquatic Center. Please send a regular sack lunch as we will eat BEFORE going on this trip.

July 5th – Maplewood Lanes* We will enjoy bowling and then pizza and soda for lunch. No need to send a sack lunch as we willprovide an additional nutritious snack upon our return to supplement our lunch.

July 12th – Family Fun Center XL* Students will play laser tag, mini golf, and video games and then eat a buffet lunch. No sack lunch needed.

July 19th – Blair 3 Theatre* We will watch a kid-friendly movie at the theatre and enjoy popcorn, soda, and fruit snacks. Please send a regular sack lunch as we will eat upon returning to site.

July 26th – Children’s Museum/Gene Leehy Mall Staff will divide into smaller groups to guide the students through the attractions of the Children’s Museum. We will picnic at the Gene Leehy Mall park before heading back to site (please send a sack lunch and water bottle).

August 2nd – Bounce U Students will enjoy bouncing and playing on the various inflatables. Please send a regular sack lunch as we will eat upon returning to site.
