Dear Kelvin,

Thank you for allowing James Rianhard an opportunity to review the survey that you are planning to administer at Northwestern State University in the coming school year. We believe that the results of the survey will be very useful to Blackboard in understanding the satisfaction of NSU students with our products, and also helping us meet your future e-Education needs.

As you suggested, I have reviewed the survey that you sent us, and have only a few suggestions for additional questions that will be of interest to Blackboard. The questions we would like added are listed below, with reference to the heading they should be grouped with in your survey:

·  Student Satisfaction Questionnaire

1.  Blackboard’s overall ease of use.

2.  The type and quality of content made available on Blackboard.

·  Online Student Opinion Survey

1.  I believe that Professors teaching my online or off-campus classes are using Blackboard effectively, and to its full potential.

2.  I believe that Professors teaching my on-campus classes are using Blackboard effectively, and to its full potential.

Thank you again for allowing us this opportunity, as we look forward to utilizing the results of your study. It is our hope that you will grant us full access to the results when they are available. To that end we will also be happy to participate in your proposed “incentive” program for survey participants through a donation of up to $500.00 to be applied to book store certificates, or some similar student geared promotion. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns about this project at 1-800-424-9299 ext. 802. I look forward to working with you!

Sincerely,

Mike Fogle
