DAY OF MEET INSTRUCTIONS

SATURDAY 17TH SUNDAY 18THMARCH 2017

We would like to draw your attention to the following points: -

  1. Parking is pay and display on Saturday and free on Sunday
  1. Warm-up times
    Saturday 17TH March

Session 1 – Warm-up 1:30pm – Start 2:30pmSession 2 – Warm-up 5:00pm – Start 6:00pm

Sunday 18th March

Session 3 – Warm-up 9:00am – Start 10:00amSession 4 – Warm-up 12:30pm – Start 1:30pm

  1. Coach packs will be available from the officials’ room located to the left of reception
  1. Withdrawals must be handed to the recordersby the start of each warm-up on the official sheets.

  1. Access to the changing rooms will be no earlier than 1:15pm on Saturday and 8:30am on Sunday
  1. Please note thatonly small drawstring type bags will be allowed on poolside, please leave large bags in lockers provided (50p refundable). B.S.S.C. and the pool management cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings
  1. Poolside shoes and clothing are essential for all competitors. Swimmers will not be allowed in the spectator’s area if they are wet.No outdoor shoes or denim to be worn on poolside
  1. No unauthorized person will be allowed on poolside
  1. It is the responsibly of swimmers, coaches and team mangers to ensure swimmers are at the marshalling area in good time, at least 5 heats before their swim
  1. In the interest of Health and Safety no glass or hot drinks will be allowed poolside or in the changing village.
  1. If swimmers are taking medication, please make sure it is kept with a parent / guardian or carer.
  1. Spectators will be allowed entrance at 1:30pm on Saturday and 9:00am Sunday. Entrance fee including a programme is£4.50 per person per session,Children (under 12) are £2 per child per session.
  1. Please familiarise yourself with the location of all emergency exits.
  1. Please ensure that mobile phones are switched off or on silent mode and any flash/light is disabled.
  1. In accordance with the ASA Child Safeguarding Policies and Procedures any parents or careers of swimmers under the age of 18 who wish to take photographic or video images are requested to focus on their own child as much as reasonably possible and to avoid including other children in those images, particularly if those images are being shared with family and friends through social media platforms. Should you have any concerns about photography or filming at this event then please bring them to the attention of Helena Pretious-White on the day or by email after,
  1. No Flash Photography – it can distract the swimmers and officials
