Blackboard Community /
- A Blackboard community has been created for Phase I members to access minutes and meeting materials, hold chats and vote electronically when necessary
- The link for Blackboard is (username and password are the same for your Rowan login information)
- As a reminder, an email will typically be sent to your Cooper email address with notification of any postings, etc. in Blackboard, but you should be checking your Rowan email address routinely to ensure you are not receiving any important messages if you have not already set up automatic forward of emails; you will need your Rowan login information to access Blackboard

Lecture PowerPoint Template /
- Within the student liaison meetings, we have found that lectures need to be created on a plain white background or the CMSRU standard template previously distributed
- New requirement calls for the addition of the disclosure and conflict of interest and copyright slides; are currently being inserted to all lectures being posted and will be in use for all future content
- Future faculty development session is in the works regarding copyright information; will be explored with the library faculty for future presentation

Based on the statistics pulled by IT, an average of 33 students per session are utilizing Echo360 to view lectures and only an average of 2 students per session are utilizing Echo360 to view non-lecture related postings

LectureTools offers many options not available in PowerPoint (See 9-16-13 minutes and materials for LectureTools demo)
Reminder, animations cannot be displayed in LectureTools or Echo360 recordings, do not use animations within your slides

- Committee will proceed with reviewing data accordingly
Course Reports for 1st Semester Courses /
- 1st semester courses have been charged with reporting via the new course report template and processes
- All reviewed course reports are posted with these minutes
- Course reports for Fundamentals, Foundations of Medical Practice, and Scholars’ Workshop were presented by course directors
Scholar’s Workshop /
- Updated syllabus has been approved and will be posted on Blackboard Tuesday morning
