BIO 200 - Evolutionary Biology Fall 2017

1st EXAM SEATING ASSIGNMENTS & INSTRUCTIONS

Section A – Dr. Herreid: Friday, October 6, 2017; 4:00 – 5:50 p.m.

The exam will be given in 6 rooms. Maps showing the location of the lecture halls are available online. Room assignments are based on the day and room you attend lab. We have assigned proctors that will know everyone in the room from having taught you during the lab sessions.

INSTRUCTIONS

1) Be certain that you have plenty of pens or pencils on your desk at the start!

2) Even though we have tried to place you in rooms with proctors that know you, you must still bring picture identification with you, and you will be asked to present it upon demand if the proctors have any questions about your identity.

3) You must not expose your paper excessively that would allow another student to see your answers.

4) No cheating of any kind will be tolerated.

5) When you leave, you must turn in your exam to the proctor who teaches your lab, so that the proctor may check your identification.

6) The proctors will inform you when there are 5 minutes left in the exam. That is, they will make that announcement at 5:45 p.m.

NO EXAMS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 5:50 P.M.

7) You may not keep your coats, books, etc. on the chair next to you. They must be placed in the front of the room.

8) KEEP QUIET AFTER YOU LEAVE THE EXAM ROOM. Do not congregate in the hallway and make a disturbance after the exam.

9) It is your responsibility to be seated properly and to be quiet before the exam starts. The proctors will not be allowed to pass out the exams until you are in compliance.

10) No calculators, cell phones, computers or notes are permitted.

11) VERY IMPORTANT: To alleviate problems of sorting, entering and passing out your exams, please write TA’s name, day and time of lab on your exam.
