BOLLES TEAM TRIP INFORMATION –

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE COMPLETED AND TURNED IN AN UPDATED MEDICAL FORM FOR YOUR SWIMMER. ALL FORMS SHOULD BE TURNED INTO THE BUSINESS OFFICE, AND ANY CHANGES SHOULD BE NOTED OR A NEW FORM COMPLETED.

BUS ITINERARY:

Leave- 4:30am on Wednesday June 25th promptly from NOVA parking lot.

Swimmers need to be in the parking lot no later than 4:15am.

5:15am – Pick up Nova South Swimmers in Chester at Martin’s

Return- Load buses after dinner at the pool on Sunday. Swimmers will ride overnight and return to NOVA at 5:15am (4:30am for NOVA South group) on Monday June 30th . If the timeline changes, the swimmers will call home with arrival time.

Swimmers bring breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks for the road. Except for 1-2 short restroom breaks, stops will be only as the drivers need to. We will not stop for lunch. Travel time 9 hours and 45 minutes

PHONES: Cell phones may NOT be used on the pool deck or after lights off. Cell phones may not be used to listen to music during these times. This is a NOVA Team Travel Policy!

MEET FORMAT/ SCHEDULE: We will arrive in Jacksonville mid-afternoon on Wednesday and have dinner at a local mall food court, followed by a team practice. On Thursday we will break into 2 groups to eat breakfast and then depart for another team practice. Following practice we will spend a fun day at Jacksonville beach. This meet is Trials and Finals for all age groups on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

APPROXIMATE COST: $345.00+ meet entry fees (final cost will be billed after the trip)

This cost includes:Hotel for 4 nights

Bus transportation

Breakfast -Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun

Dinner -Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sunday

Bus driver gratuity

FOOD/MONEY: Swimmers will need to bring money for three food court meals ($5-10 each) plus money for the team beach day including money for lunch. Additional money for personal extras, such as extra snacks/drinks during the meet, meet t-shirts, etc., is left to your discretion.

  • Extra towels, goggles, prelims and finals caps
  • Water bottle to be filled and taken to pool each day
  • Mirrored Goggles – pool is outdoors!

  • Sunscreen for beach and competition days
  • Books/ music/ games/ movies for the bus trip
