AH: A CSNP will cover Fri, Sat, Sun & Monday.
Phlebotomy
Normal weekend and bank holiday hours and volumes. (8am-1pm)
ICT
Sat, Sun & Monday - 2 staff on site 8.30-5 pm on call 5-7 pm.

Imaging & Endoscopy

NB: Asusual contact is through the Consultant on the GI bleed rota and the Consultant will contact the endoscopy nurse when required

Anticoagulation Service: No service provided over the weekends or on any Bank Holiday.
Microbiology servicePlease only send urgent samples over the holiday weekend and the preceding Thursdays and Friday. The laboratory MUST be informed when these samples are being sent. Routine samples which are too old to culture when the laboratory reopens will be discarded.
Biochemistry & Haematology service: Usual out of Hours service

Theatres - St. Peters
The main theatres at SPH will be running a normal weekend service, i.e. emergencies on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. We will also be running a normal trauma list on Saturday..
Medical Cover: (See attached)
There will be an additional x4 Drs on call to support the emergency take for medicine to carry-out ward work 9-3pm. On-call team only on Mon
NB: Designated Cardiology Consultant covering emergency Chest pain
MAU:
On-call Team to be based in MAU to support GP demand.
A&E:
Consultants - Dr Cheshire Sat & Sun. Mr O’Neil Mon. Matrons role covered Mon by Sr Soanes & Sr. Daniella
Surgical/Orthopaedic Cover:
Bank Holiday Monday there will be the normal weekend cover of Junior Doctor on Call, Registrar on Call and Consultant on Call for SPH and at Ashford there will be a Junior Doctor on the premises for Ortho both bank hol days
Clinical Measurements:
Echocardiography cover over Bank Holiday week end, Friday and Monday 10th and 13th April
Information Technology
The IT Department provides an out of hours on-call service to respond to emergency IT incidents.Emergency incidents will involve one or more IT systems being completely unavailable for all users within a department or across the trust e.g. PAS unavailable; email unavailable; network failure.
To invoke the IT Emergency On-Call service:
SPH / Monday to Friday 17.00 – 19.00 hours: contact Duty Matron (Switchboard have copy of rota)
All other times contact the Clinical Site Nurse Practitioner (CSNP) or Site Co-ordinator on Bleep 5001
Ashford / Contact Site Co-ordinator or Clinical Site Nurse Practitioner (CSNP) on Bleep
Critical Care (Outreach)
There will be 8.15am-8.15pm Outreach cover on Sat,Sun & Mon.
Diabetes Team
There is no cover over the bank holiday period

No bank holiday service provided.
