The Organisation
TREE AID works with communities living on the edge of the Sahara desert unlock the potential of trees to both reduce poverty and protect the environment.
TREE AID is currently working with over 300 communities and 65k direct beneficiaries in five countries in sub Saharan Africa: Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, Ghana and Ethiopia. We also support and advise national governments in our core areas of:
· tree enterprise
· forest governance
· natural resource management and
· food nutrition and security
Fundraising is a dynamic and ambitious function which currently delivers over £1m income per annum and is growing.
The Role
As Supporter Fundraising Officer you will manage a program which currently delivers £500k per annum, around half of total TREE AID fundraising income. The bulk of the income and activity for which you will be responsible relates to individual giving, with smaller programmes in community giving and legacies. You will also be responsible for managing supporter enquiries and responses.

The Ideal Candidate
You are an experienced fundraiser who feels passionately about working with donors and delivering great fundraising. You have great attention to detail but also have the ability to see the bigger picture. As part of a busy team you will be results driven, flexible, an excellent communicator and interested in making a real difference for the communities TREE AID works with across Africa’s driest regions.
