This study came to achieve the objectives of the development of predictive equations in the tactics of the region's defense through some skills of running in the wheelchair and to identify the ratio of the contribution of some special skills to run in the wheelchair in the performance of the region defense as well as identifying the superiority of some wheelchair running skills of high and low players and the prevailing brain pattern of basketball wheelchair. The researchers used the descriptive approach to suit the nature of the research. The researchers selected the sample of 16 players representing Maysan and Babil basketball team on wheelchairs for the 2015-2016 sports season. The researchers performed the wheelchair-specific tests, and used a special form to assess the region defense by experts in the game by shooting matches. After obtaining the data and analyzing them statistically, the results showed that the running skills of the wheelchair contribute in different ratios in the region defense , and the players of the high categories achieved superiority in the defense of low-class players, and left-handed players were superior than the right-handed players. Therefore, the researcher recommended recommend the the need to give the trainers sufficient time from the training module for the skills of running in the wheelchair when preparing the players in full preparation and according to the proportion of their contribution.
