Job Description
Assistant/Associate Professor of Kinesiology
The Westmont Kinesiology Department has been nationally recognized for the quality of its instruction in preparing students for post graduate study and meaningful careers. In light of that continuing goal, the Department is seeking a proven teacher with a PhD, or its equivalent, with an interest and vision for teaching core classes in the major such as foundations of kinesiology, senior capstone and the required internship program. A qualified candidate would enhance faculty/student research in his/her chosen field and have the capability to teach in one or more areas in the discipline of kinesiology. Teaching responsibilities could encompass courses in nutrition, public health, movement psychology, gerontology studies, health and wellness, or motor development.Proven administrative skills would be a welcome addition for future service in the Kinesiology Department.
