Scriptures to Consider

“I (Jesus) pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil” (John 17:15).

“Martha saith unto him (Jesus), I know that he (Lazarus) shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day” (John 11:24).

“This is the Father’s will which hath sent me (Jesus), that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day” (John 6:39).

“This is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:40).

“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:44).

“Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:54).

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (the Rapture) shall not come, except there come a falling away first (a defection from the truth), and that man of sin (the Antichrist) be revealed…” (II Thess. 2:3).

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump (the 7th trumpet of Revelation): for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised…” (I Corinth. 15:51-52).

Comments

Day One of the Tribulation is when the Antichrist signs the seven (7) year treaty between Israel and the Muslims (See Dan. 9:27a) – which may be soon.

The false doctrine of a Pre-tribulation Rapture was first made popular in 1830 by John Darby and was repeated in the margins of the Scofield Bible – and is now taught as Gospel by many.

Those who preach a Pre-trib Rapture often quote Revelation 19:14 and say this is describing Saints returning with Jesus; but my King James Version Bible gives a cross-reference to Matthew 28:2-3 – which describes an angel.

“And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses,

clothed in fine linen, white and clean.”

(Revelation 19:14)

“And, behold, there was a great earthquake:

for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven,

and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat upon it.

His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow.” (Matthew 28:2-3)

Christians who believe in a Pre-trib Rapture are at risk of being lead into fatal deception – as those expecting Jesus will instead first see the magical, miracle-making demonic Antichrist.
