Asheville Treetops Adventure Park (ATAP) at the Adventure Center of Asheville
ATAP is a challenge course in the trees that has 60 unique climbing, zipping, walking, jumping, swinging, and rappelling challenges anchored to over 30 trees and towering poles tucked into a wooded park. There are 5 different adventure trails ranging from beginner to challenging levels. There are several elements that are representative of the activities you can do in North Carolina including a sky kayak, a parkway tunnel, a snowboard in the sky, swinging hula hoops, a flying horse, bumper boats and a zip hang glider, all in the trees that make this a "Truly Asheville Adventure."
We use a new technology called "smart belays" that, when used properly, are designed to assure Park Guests are attached to safety systems at all times and cannot detach from the system until they have completed the aerial trail and are back on the ground. Guests can explore freely knowing the safety system monitors their attachments and is designed to not allow accidental unclipping from the safety points. It is an active adventure that incorporates physical fitness and personal accomplishment.

2:30 on Sunday, September 6.
For the discount rate, ask for or enter code “SLDC.”
Your rate will be $41.65 a person unless you would like the optional cancellation guarantee.
Please book as soon as possible, as this will be a busy weekend.
Cancellation Information:
• Full Refund except for one $10 reservation fee for activity cancelled 14 days in advance.
• $20 per person cancellation free for activity cancelled between 14 and 7 days.
• No refunds for reservation cancelled less than 7 days before activity date unless cancellation guarantee is purchased.
• Rescheduling is treated as a cancellation.
• No refunds for inclement weather.
Optional Cancellation Guarantee:
• For a nonrefundable 7.5% fee, full refund will be given for any reservation cancelled by 1pm the day before the activity date.
• Full credit in form of a voucher, except the fee, will be given for an activity cancelled the same day, prior to activity time.
If you would like to purchase this cancellation guarantee, please let your reservationist know or purchase that online. We do go rain or shine, so this would allow you to rebook on Sunday, if you changed your reservation by 1pm on Friday in case of bad weather.
Gratuity:
Gratuity is optional for our rangers and is not included in your rate. If you would like to add gratuity, you can pay that at the office- after your event. It is optional but appreciated by the rangers for going above and beyond.

Asheville Treetops Adventure Park Waiver:
Every participant has to be 4 years old and over and under 265 lbs.
What you should wear: (you will be in a full harness with shoulder and leg straps)
• closed toe shoes are mandatory (tennis shoes are fine)
• long shorts or pants
• you may want to wear a collar shirt because of the harness on your shoulders
• tie long hair back and no dangling jewelry
• you will want to leave all cell phones in your car
• bring a raincoat in case of rain (we go rain or shine)
• a camera is fine, if you can clip it to your harness
There is little food or beverage located at the Adventure Center. We do have water jugs for those climbing ATAP. However, if you would like to bring non-alcoholic drinks and snacks, please do.

Take I-240 West until you cross the French Broad River. Take Exit 3A straight onto Hwy 19/23 also known as Patton Avenue. Turn right at second light (Denny's) onto Regent Park Blvd. Turn left at end of road at sign for Crowne Plaza Resort. The Adventure Center of Asheville is at the top of the hill on your left.
