Attention! A tourist visa is not sufficient in most of our partner countries. An unauthorized entry with a wrong visa can have severe consequences for the interns (fine, imprisonment, entry ban in the project country et cetera). In this case, the ASA program is free to cancel the project internship.

C Detailed information concerning the ASA global project

Please answer the following questions precisely.

Project title
Required language skills

3.1.What are the goals of the ASA project? How are the goals related to the objectives of both organizations?

3.3.What can the participants learn about global challenges and how these challenges influence the hosting countries and their population in particular?

3.4.What will the concrete tasks of the participants during both phases of the project be?

When planning the participants' tasks please make sure to give them enough time and space for cross-cultural learning, especially during the project phase in Germany since the team will then start working together. Do not overload with activities, give also time to adjust. Also please consider the time gap between the proposal and the beginning of the internship in April 2018. Therefore, please describe in your project proposal a possible scope of duties, with which the participants can cope during their stay. After the participants' selection phase, in March 2018, please specify the tasks together with the participants.

3.5.What specific knowledge / skills should the participants have? What experience acquired in the past could be useful for their work during the project?

The ASA program will refer to these requirements for choosing the participants from Germany for the proposed project, if your proposal is accepted. It also helps you as organizations to identify candidates from your regions.

3.6.The ASA program is a learning and qualification program dedicated to development education. It is aimed at young people who want to understand global interdependencies, who ask critical questions and who want to strengthen a fair world. After their project internship, the participants should get involved in sustainable development and promote the understanding of global interdependencies. How could the participants gain and practice such competences for their future engagement during the project?

3.7.Please write a short summary about the whole project and try to emphasize on the task of the internship. This will help us to promote the project and address possible candidates in case the proposal is approved.
