Apprentice Code Of Conduct

As a disciple of Christ and a representative of Christ’s church I will:

·  Strive to follow Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior

o  Acknowledging I will make mistakes but beginning each day with a new commitment to be His disciple.

·  Live as a faithful follower of Christ:

o  Worship regularly (not just lead worship)

o  Spend time in personal and corporate devotions and prayer, and seek opportunities to grow in my obedience to God.

o  Use my gifts and talents to the best of my ability to love God and neighbor;

·  Strive to live a life above reproach for the sake of the gospel:

o  I will not date anyone in the ministry that I am serving as an apprenticeship. I will try to keep all of my relationship with Christ as the center.

o  I will avoid gossip by keeping confidentiality about the people I serve.

o  I will handle disagreements in a Christ-like manner by avoiding gossip and talking with my supervisor or the appropriate leader, when necessary.

o  I will follow the Child Protection Policy of the local ministry.

o  I will strive to live my life at all time in a manner that honors Jesus Christ.
