Graduate Tuition Scholarships (GTS)can be used to cover any portion of tuition for courses taken at the main campus of the University of Arizona. It cannot be used to cover courses taken at any satellite campus or for courses offered through the Outreach College. Many courses offered online, as well as some on main campus are offered through the Outreach College, so you should check carefully with your program coordinator about whether the tuition associated with that course is eligible for the GTS.GTS cannot be used to cover mandatory fees, nor can it be used to cover extra program or course fees that may be imposed on top of regular tuition. GTS is applied directly to the base graduate tuition charges and has no cash value. GTS may not count as taxable income. Recipients are encouraged to consult a professional tax advisor.
