Cost
Fees will be charged at a rate equivalent to our usual undergraduate training i.e. £3,225for a full academic year (2009-10). The total fee cost for the Dip AVN (at this year’s figures) would be in the order of £4,030. We would expect payment in advance only for the modules being studied at the time – i.e. “pay as you go”. This would make a 20 credit module £537.50
Study visits
Module fees will pay for the academic element of the study days but accommodation and meals would be an extra. If required there will be some accommodation available on site for most of the study sessions.
Assessment
Modules will be assessed by a range of methods including end of unit examination, casebooks, assignments and practical “spot” exams. Support in assessment skills is available for those who have not sat an exam in some time.
Practical Experience
All entrants will have already a good range of practical experience – but some more will be required for the optional modules. The nature of the practice used will depend upon the choice of module.
