The part of the digestive system investigated is oesophagus (Oeso), Proventriculus (Pro) and Gizzard (Giz). The quantitative measures are represented by frequency of birds with a certain food item (Freq), dry weight (d.w.), an index based on dry weight and frequency (d.w. index) volume by placing matter in a liquid container and measuring replaced liquid (Vol).
