A competent person is someone who has sufficient knowledge in an industry, by the means of working in this industry for many years, attending courses and passing exams in the said industry. I have worked in this industry for over 15 years, with experience in hiring inflatable play equipment, repairing Inflatables\bouncy castles also altering them to the required standard. I have also attended a RPII training day and passed an exam to carry out testing of inflatable play equipment. I am no longer a member of the RPII association, but I have kept up to date with the standards used such as the EN 14690:2013. I carry out the exactly same test to the guidance of the EN 14690:2013 standard in the form of a competent person due to the experience above.
The above test is valid for 12 months
