Alternative Dance Centre Picture Schedule 2017

Below please find your child’s Teachers Name, along with the Day and Time that she/he dances during the week. This will help you find the allotted time for their Picture’s for our 3rd Annual Dance Recital. Pictures will be held atAlternative Dance Centre in studio 2. You should be at the studio, hair and make up ready at least 20 minutes prior to your scheduled time. They may wear their costumes as long as they are wearing a cover up (ex: oversized button up shirt, robe, smock) to avoid getting dirty. If they choose to change at the studio, studio 1 and the lobby bathroom will be available.

*There will no classes this week. Only Pictures. If your child is not in the Recital but you would still like a dance picture for 2017, he/she can still come dressed in a dance outfit of your choice for their picture to be taken during their class time.

-Jewelry: Clear diamond stud earrings or ADC competitive crystal earrings. THIS IS OPTIONAL. If your child’s ears are not pierced, they may choose to wear clip-on clear diamond stud earrings, but they are not mandatory. NO necklaces, bracelets, watches, anklets, rings, etc. Company crystal studs are required for allADC COMPANY Members.

-NO nail polish on fingers or toes.

-NO undergarments underneath tights.

-Hair and makeup will be demonstrated in class when costumes are distributed. Please be prepared to stay the first 20 minutes of that class. We will issue an email for “Hair & Make-Up “ one week prior to handing out costumes.

-Men are NOT allowed in the women’s dressing rooms. There will be a bathroom for boys to change in.

-Please have ALL pieces of your child’s costume(s). If you are in more than one recital dance please be sure to have all of the correct shoes and tights & accessories.

-A professional photographer will take ONE group pose per dance, and TWO individual poses for each student in each number. Photos usually take about 15-20 minutes per recital piece. Purchasing photos is NOT required, but all students must attend picture day.

-During picture day, there is no photography permitted in Studio 2 or 3 out of respect for the photographer.

-Parents will not be allowed in the room while pictures are being taken. Their teacher will take the class in as a group for all shots.

-Be sure your account is Current. All outstanding balances must be paid prior to distribution of costumes and participation in the recital.
