General rules in case of fire

All users have a duty to get to know the fire precautions in the building. This will apply specifically to the fire exits and where fire extinguishers and fire alarms are placed.

In case of fire alarm:

- Follow the general fire instruction. See below.

- Leave the building through the nearest fire exit, and once you are outside, do not stand close to the entrance door!

What should YOU do if the fire alarm is activated or if there is a fire?

In case of fire you must act QUICKLY, CORRECTLY and CALMLY

- UiT emergency number 776 44444

CLEAR

THE BUILDING:- Get people out of the building/into a safe zone

PUT OUT FIRE:- Put the fire out using fire hoses, fire

extinguishers, or by using blankets etc.

NB! Close all doors to contain flames and smoke as much as possible

Generell branninstruks

Alle bruker plikter å gjøre seg kjent med de brannverntiltak som finnes i bygningen. Dette gjelder særlig rømningsveier og hvor slukkeutstyr og brannmeldere er plassert.

Ved brannalarm:

- Følg generell branninstruks

- Gå ut av bygningen gjennom nærmeste rømningsvei. Og ikke bli stående rett utenfor inngangsdøren!!

REDDE:- Bistå med evakuering til det fri / over til annen sone

SLOKKE: -Slokke med husbrannslanger, håndslokkings-

apparat, eventuelt kvele med tepper eller lignende.

NB! Lukk alle dører slik at brann og røyk sprer seg minst mulig
