Architect Trainee
Immediately opening for an individual to assist licensed architect in preliminary designs. Applicant needs strong math background and artistic knowledge. Computer experience is required. Will train on Soft-Plan and AutoCad.
Camp Counselor
Position available for a self-motivated person who has strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with children, teens, or adults. Duties include, but are not limited to, supervising and instructing indoor and outdoor recreational activities including leading groups on nature and wildlife hikes. Creativity is a plus in designing and implementing theme-related projects in arts and crafts. Background in the arts including music and theatre would be an asset. Campers come from a diverse background; therefore, knowledge of a second language would be beneficial.

Applicant needs to be a self-starter and enthusiastic. Experience with desktop publishing background is beneficial. This intern will assist the full-time Park Rangersto carry out various tasks associated with forest or structural fire control, protection of property, documentation of complaints and accidents, and enforcement of park regulations. Individuals must possess good communication skills and be able to work well with others as this intern may be assisting the Park Naturalist with demonstrations. A driver’s license is required. Knowledge in fish or wildlife habitat is advantageous. A certificate in first aid, CPR, and/or lifeguard training would be beneficial.
Restaurant Trainee
Individuals needed to work in a very busy dining room of a local restaurant. Job responsibilities include greeting and seating customers, taking orders, and serving meals, which could lead to a restaurant management position. Outdoor observation of wildlife may be necessary; data from these observations will need to be compiled using computer software so knowledge of Excel is a plus.
