LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

A Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to Mary T. Leyden, CGFM,

in recognition of her outstanding service and dedication to the AGA – Boston

Chapter.

AGA - BOSTON CHAPTER ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS - 2014

Walter Frese:

The Walter Frese Memorial Scholarship is named in honor of the late Walter Frese who was one

of the original Boston Chapter Charter Members and served on the AGA National Board.

The Boston Chapter is pleased to award the 2014 Walter FreseMemorial Scholarship to

Nicholas R. Juzyca who is a freshman at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst’sIsenburg

School of Management majoring in accounting. His current GPA is 3.75.

His extracurricular activities include the Boy Scouts of America (Eagle Scout), Future Business

Leaders Club, and a Lector at St. Mary’s of the Hills Church.

George E. Brady:

The George E. Brady Scholarship is named in honor of the late George E. Brady who was a member of

The Chapter from 1957 until 1996. He served as the Boston Chapter President from 1964

thru 1965. George was instrumental in getting government service recognized as public accounting

experience by the CPA licensing board.

This year’s recipient is Nichlas M. Romano who is a sophomore at Boston College’s Wallace E. Carroll School of Management majoring in finance & accounting. His current GPA is 3.74.

His extracurricular activities include Generation Citizen, the Boston College Investment Club, and the Boston College Portfolio Challenge.
