IREM® COURSE OFFERING CHECKLIST FOR CHAPTERS

After the Course

Follow the checklist below at the end of every offering:

□Arrive at the course site on the last day of the offering, at least one hour prior to the course end time and stay until all students have left.

□Distribute and collect student evaluations; seal evaluations in 9x12 envelope(s) provided and identify the contents – example: “MKL405 Evaluations.” And then sign the back of the envelope.

□Collect all completed Student Data Forms. The student contact information should be filled in on the front of the form, and the “Exam” answers should be bubbled on the back. Ensure that each student completes a separate student data form for each course taken. Please note: Student data forms are per course, not per track.

□All other IREM® course materials including student workbooks, handouts, etc., may be discarded or recycled. For MPSA offerings, all used and unused materials should be returned to IREM HQ.
Important! Do not keep student workbooks. IREM prints materials on demand which means if you re-use a student workbook; any revisions to the materials may not be incorporated.

□Keep IREM® promotional and marketing course materials to reuse as appropriate.

□Before the instructor leaves, ask for feedback on how the course went. Ask the instructor if there were any student queries or emergency situations that need to be noted with IREM® Headquarters.

□As students leave the offering, ask for feedback on how the course went. Follow-up with any queries and capture any issues that IREM® Headquarters will need to know.

□Check the room for any items left behind and pack up audio visual equipment as necessary.

□Capture all feedback in the “Administrator” Course Evaluation included in every materials shipment. Send the evaluation back to IREM in the packet sent to IREM® Headquarters.

□Inthe envelope provided, pack and mail the following materials to IREM® Headquarters:

  • Completed Student Data Forms
  • All Exam materials, end of course exams, completed booklets, answer sheets, AND unused exam booklets.

Dear IAE,

Enclosed you will find the UPS “Express Pack” envelopes and blue and white UPS labels pre-addressed to IREM headquarters. Please follow the instructions below to ensure that your course materials are returned to IREM Headquarters. And remember … it’s free of charge!

If you have any questions, please contact Supervisor, Education Services, at 312-329-6047 or . Thank you!

  1. Enclose your documents in the empty UPS envelope that we have provided with the course materials.
  2. Affix the pre-addressed UPS shipping label to the envelope.
  3. Now you will need to get your package to UPS. You can either use a UPS drop box that you know of, or you can schedule a UPS pick-up online or by phone. To schedule the pick-up online, simply go to and click “Schedule a Pick-Up.” To schedule by phone, call 1-800-PICK-UPS.
  4. To locate a UPS drop box, go to and enter your location. If there is a box nearby, this may be an easier way of shipping your course return material.
  5. If you call to schedule a UPS pick-up, UPS may ask you for an account number. If this happens, assure them that you have a shipping document already filled out with its own account number and that you do not need UPS to provide you with any additional air bill. Then they will ask for the pick-up address.
  6. If you are shipping from your home, inform UPS that you will either (a) leave the package on your doorstep, or, (b) have the package inside and they can ring the bell when they are there for pick-up.
  7. If you are shipping from an office, inform UPS that the package will be at the receptionist’s desk (or whatever other location you will be leaving the package). You should also inform UPS what time your office closes.

Thank you for your assistance in ensuring that your very important course return materials make their way back to IREM Headquarters!
