Additions to GC Initial system open up new possibilities and prospects

More vitality with powder opaques, strong bonders and bleach shades

One system for all indications – naturally attractive and uncompromisingly simple. So that restoration work can be done even more simply and with greater diversity using GC Initial, GC EUROPE is now completing its ceramic range with a few extra modules: for ceramo-metallic work, as well as the tried and tested paste opaques there is now a complete range of powder opaques. Also new to the system: a titanium ceramic bonder with sensational bonding strength, GC Initial INmetalbond for highly aesthetic, tension-free ceramo-metallic restorations and three special bleach shades.

With the GC Initial MC powder opaque the dental company is adding yet another highlight to its ceramo-metallic range. The easy-to-process base material (pack contents 20 or 50 grams) is available in all 16 Vita shades and also in six additional effect materials for more individual characterisation – for unlimited creativity and ease of handling.

Powder or paste? Suit yourself

For high-quality metallic veneers there are the four kits – GC Initial MC Basic, Basic Plus, Entrance and Standard – now available either with paste or powder opaques. These are perfectly coordinated with the equally new GC Initial MC Powder Opaque Liquid for mixing the materials.

Tension-free bond due to CTE balancing

Reliable buffer – convincing aesthetics: the new GC Initial INmetalbond can be used to create first-class, firmly anchored ceramo-metallic restorations for the entire range of alloys. The bonding agent from GC EUROPE not only acts as an efficient CTE buffer between ceramic and (non-precious) metal alloy but also neutralises the emerging metal oxides and prevents discoloration in the marginal region. GC Initial INmetalbond thereby guarantees a reliable bond and optimal shade characterisation. The ready-to-use paste material made of silicate glass is now available in an eight gram pot.

Titanium bonder with superior adhesive strength

Another new arrival on the market is an all-purpose bonder for veneering of titanium frames: GC Initial Ti Bonder benefits from the company’s expertise in dental materials and displays bonding strengths far beyond the required standard. Early scientific studies have shown that the titanium ceramic bonder exceeds by 30 per cent the minimum levels set for bonding strength in the ISO standards. GC Initial Ti Bonder powder and liquid are available separately in four gram and 25 millilitre containers and as a combined introductory set.

Light dental shades – naturally for all ceramic systems

Fashion in aesthetics: three new bleach shades from the Dental Care Company satisfy all the modern requirements for pearly-white restorations. The three dentine and one enamel material are thus conforming to the proven GC Initial concept of “one colour system, one layering technique” and are naturally available for all five ceramic systems – GC Initial MC, LF, Ti, AL or Zr.
