KOSGEB SUPPORTS
1) Consultancy and Training Supports
Consultancy Support; within the scope of studies that will be carried out on investment orientation, evaluation of their idle capacity, increase their quality and efficiency, administrative and technical legislation application, product – method development and similar studies, by enterprises, new entrepreneurs and operating organizations, the provision of the consultancy support they require, for the improvement of their knowledge and skills on planning, investment, modernization, technological research – development and technology adaptation, manufacturing, marketing, information, management and similar subjects, for ensuring that they reach a level where they can compete in local – international markets and for the establishment of new enterprises to increase employment and added value.
For this purpose, it comprises the supports provided to the consultancy services which the enterprises, new entrepreneurs and operating organizations will procure from consultancy organizations, independent business expert and universities, public offices as well as commercial foundation enterprises, which have activities in this area, local and foreign, with the status of any type of company, that exist in the KOSGEB database.
The consultancy services that will be provided to the New entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs and operating organizations, by grouping and finding solutions to those problems showing a common characteristics, shall be organized by KOSGEB and the procurement of the service shall be carried out.
Training Supports aim supporting the enterprises, new entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs and operating organizations in providing their training needs, in order to improve their knowledge and skills on subjects such as planning, investment, modernization, technological research – development and technology adaptation, manufacturing, marketing, information, management, legislation and entrepreneurship, to ensure that they reach a level where they can compete in local – international markets and to increase employment and added value.
It comprises the support given to the enterprises, new entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs and operating organizations for their participation in the training programs which have been organized by KOSGEB, as well as the support given to special training services that the enterprises, shall procure from the local private/public training organizations/establishments that exist in the KOSGEB database.
a)General training programs: They are programs organized by KOSGEB in accordance with the training requirements of the enterprises and there isn’t any limitation on subjects and participation number for the participants.
b)General entrepreneurship and young entrepreneurs development training programs: These are programs organized by KOSGEB for the entrepreneurs who want to establish their own business or those who want to improve their existing enterprises, on preparation of a Business plan and their transition to operational management based on Business plans and for students of formal/commoneducational institutions and university following secondary education as well as those who have just graduated from these institutions.
c)Special Training support: For the training programs organized by the local private/public training organizations/institutions existing in the KOSGEB database and that have been approved by KOSGEB, special training support is provided in accordance with the criteria determined by KOSGEB.
2) Technology Development and Innovation Supports
Technologic research and development supportisthe provision of technologic research and development support to those enterprises having new ideas and inventions based on science and technology so that they are established and develop at a technological level to compete in national and international platforms and in order that new products are manufactured or developed.
It comprises the supports provided to the enterprises that have been decided to be supported in councils within the framework of cooperation protocols concerning Technologic development centers, technology incubators without walls, technology innovation centers and similar R&D projects; for the expenses related to materials, equipment and prototype production and provision of raw materials for trial purposes, quality improvement, procurement of technologic hardware, consultancy, publication of R&D results, techno park rental support, workshop allocation, participation in congresses in foreign countries, conferences, panels, symposiums and technology fairs.
Support for Industrial property rights; as a result of the studies carried out by the enterprises, in case an invention resulting a patent certificate, a beneficial model certificate or an industrial design record arises, this is a support for the expenses that will be required for obtaining patent, a beneficial model certificate, an industrial design registration and integrated circuit topographies registration certificate within and outside the country.
Pursuant to the receipt of the patent certificate, the beneficial model certificate, the industrial design record and the integrated circuit topographies registration certificate by the enterprises, it covers the supports that will be provided for a period of one year for the purpose of the purpose of these expenses.
3) Information Technology Supports
Computer software support;is giving support for the provision of computer software, in order to increase the competitive powers of the enterprises in national and international platforms and improve their quality levels.
This comprises the computer software supports provided to the enterprises so that they can procure computer-aided design/manufacturing, manufacturing planning follow up and control, institutional resource planning, maintenance-repair software.
Support for orientation to E-Trade; is the provision of support to the enterprises for their orientation to E-trade, so that they can open up to world markets and increase their competitive levels.
It comprises the supports that will be provided for the expenses related to the synergy focuses infrastructure that has been established to serve the enterprises and the orientation of the enterprises to e-trade.
4) Quality Improvement Supports
Support for General test-analysis, calibration and test-analysis related toCE marking; is the support provided for the test-analysis, calibration services as well as test-analysis and inspection expenses within CE marking conformity evaluation activities that are carried out in national/international public or private organization/institution laboratories, in accordance with criteria determined outside KOSGEB, in order that the product qualities of the enterprises are increased, they can develop new products and to provide the product certificates that are requested in international markets.
It comprises the supports given for the services that the enterprises have obtained from laboratories outside KOSGEB, accredited or whose proficiency has been accepted by ministries or which have obtained an approved organization status by being published in the official gazette of the European Union, that belong to local/foreign public/private sector organizations and that provide test, analysis, calibration services; or until the time that the accreditation applications are spread, on the condition that it is limited to a temporary period, from laboratories that have been approved by KOSGEB, belonging to local public or private sector organizations and laboratories existing in the KOSGEB database, who are providing service within the scope of CE marking conformity evaluation activities, that have been accredited or whose proficiency has been accepted by ministries.
5) Market Research and Export Improvement Supports
Support for participating in the industrial fairs; is the provision of support for participation in industrial expertise and general industrial fairs in the country, determined by KOSGEB from among the annual local fair schedule communication published in the Official Gazette by the relevant authority, in order to enable the enterprises to increase their market shares, acknowledge their competitors, obtain information on new products and technologies and establish a brand image for their products.
Support for participation in international industrial expertise fairs in the country; is the provision of support for participation in international industrial expertise fairs in the country, determined by KOSGEB from among the annual local fair schedule communication published in the Official Gazette by the relevant authority and İzmir International Fair, in order to enable the enterprises to increase their market shares, acknowledge their competitors, obtain information on new products and technologies and establish a brand image for their products
Support for participation in fairs abroad at a National participation level; is the provision of support for participation of the enterprises in fairs abroad, determined by KOSGEB from among the international fairs at a national participation level, that are organized in countries where the national participation of our country shall be realized and are foreseen as target markets for the enterprises, in order to enable the enterprises to establish an entry into international markets, to increase their international market shares, acknowledge their competitors, obtain information on new products and technologies and establish a brand image for their products.
Support for participation in fairs abroad outside National participation level; is the provision of support for participation of the enterprises in fairs abroad, determined by KOSGEB from among the international fairs apart from a national participation level, that are organized by organizing institutions in countries which are foreseen as target markets for the enterprises, in order to enable the enterprises to establish an entry into international markets and increase their international market shares, acknowledge their competitors, obtain information on new products and technologies and establish a brand image for their products.
Promotion support; is the provision of support to the enterprises for the activities they will carry out in order to promote their enterprises and products, especially abroad.
Brand orientation support; is to provide support for the expenses related to the studies that the enterprises will carry out for their orientation to brand within and outside the country, in order that they have a desire to create a brand image in national and international markets with their own brand.
6) Support for Improving International Cooperation
Support for participation in Export purposed trips abroad (İYİG);is to provide support to enterprises for their participation in export purposed business trips abroad (İYİG) which are organized by sectoral institutions/career organizations to countries approved by KOSGEB, so that they can, according to their own targets, carry out research for direct exports, indirect technical/technological, joint investment, financial and similar cooperation possibilities, direct bilateral business deals with potential importing enterprise representatives, determine on site the consumer preferences and the price level of the product, obtain information on the economic structure and industrial situation and hence open up to international cooperation environment.
Matching support; is the provision of support for the expenses related to the services specified below, that will be received from the matching centers which have been established abroad within the context of KOSGEB matching center models and that have been approved by KOSGEB, in order to serve the enterprises in their orientation to foreign trade, joint production/investment and similar international cooperation, enable them to compete in international markets and obtain a share.
The services that will be provided by the matching centers have been divided into four groups::
a) Basic services: In this context, finding a potential match in the target country, notification of the requests received from the relevant country, satisfaction of additional information requests, exhibition of member catalogs and samples, fair research, orientation on catalog publication, visa/invitation letter preparation service, hotel reservation service, aid in obtaining residency permission, finding clients outside the database, phone, fax, internet service and similar services are included.
b) Organizational services: In this context, web page/virtual catalog preparation service, supply of office devices such as projection and computer, organization of commercial visits abroad, change of license, aid in driver/vehicle rental, banking/insurance/security services, meeting room rental, interpretation, translation services, participation/representation services in fairs, guidance and similar services are included.
c) Consultancy services: In this context, supplier research for raw material, machinery/workbench research, contract evaluation/research, competition research, request characteristics research, local legislation research, research for financial resources, joint investment/feasibility study, joint investment/contract preparation, technology research, human resources research, specialist/technical specialist research and similar services are included.
d) Permanent exhibition/showroom services: In this context, standard stand construction, standard stand decoration, the two-way transportation of the products between the local depot and the permanent exhibition/showroom area, the unloading-storing- loading expenses of the products abroad, as well as general security, general cleaning of the Permanent exhibition/showroom area, the customs procedures of the products as well as the transportation insurance procedures abroad and similar services are included.
7) Regional Development Supports
Local economic research support; is the provision of support for carrying out studies and analyses such as the natural resources in the regions, the existing infrastructure and super structure, industrial inventory and determination of the most appropriate areas of investment, realization of suitable and profitable investments, research on the establishment of strategic plans based on economic, social development as well as national and regional development.
Support for machinery-equipment for common use purposes; is the provision of support to enterprises and career organizations working in the same business branch and/or complementary business branches, so that, through an enterprise established mutually, they can purchase machinery and equipment for the common use workshops (ORTKA) and common use laboratories (ORTLAB), where they can realize one or more processes of the manufacturing and/or design, that they would not be able to obtain individually or collectively, which will be established so as to meet their requirements for the transition to mass production or new products and which they will mutually benefit from.
Support for the infrastructure and super structure application project; is the provision of support to the infrastructure and super structure application project expenses for new investments, in order that the production and employment are increased and technologies are developed.
Qualified personnel support;is the support provided for finding qualified personnel to the enterprises/operating organizations and the national/international projects that are being implemented in cooperation with KOSGEB, in order to increase the technology level of the enterprises are increased, the product quality is improved, new products are developed, its efficiency and its competitive power in local-foreign markets is increased.
8) Supports for Developing Entrepreneurship
New Entrepreneur support; is the provision of support to new Entrepreneurs who have established its enterprise in the last year, in order that Entrepreneurship, which is the basic factor in economic development and the resolution of the employment problems, is supported, spread and successful enterprises are established.
It comprises the supports regarding the compensation of the initial expenses of the new Entrepreneur in establishing a business within maximum three years from the date of the support agreement as well as the machinery-equipment and hardware expenses.
Business development center support; is the support provided to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the business development centers (İŞGEM), established and operated by the operating organizations, so as the ensure the establishment of new and successful enterprises, in order to contribute to the local economic and social development,
It comprises the support provided to compensate for the operational expenses of the business development centers, which have been established by KOSGEB within the scope of national and international projects and have been resuming their activities by the operating organization.
