This option provides students an in-depth study of the literatures of Peninsular and Insular Spain, as well as Latin American and US Latino literatures in conjunction with a strong background in Literary Theory.

CORE REQUIREMENTS (9 units): One introductory course or one seminar in each area of Spanish (Literature, Culture, and Linguistics), depending on the course offerings and/or on the candidate’s choice.
