Key Activities Undertaken
·  Ch have had the opportunity to take part in local competitions at least once a month.
·  Sports and PE display board was created in the corridor displaying a picture of the house captains and their manifestos including pictures and information which is updated regularly.
·  Shiny stars lunch time club was continued in September 2016 by Sarah Moore. This club targeted pupil premium, children with low esteem or poor coordination. Unfortunately Sarah will be leaving Water field due to relocating at the end of Summer term.
·  Dance club continued In September 2016 – April 2017 Sarah Moore qualified dance teacher .
·  A range of CPD training was given to teachers - Tag rugby twilight session held and Haywards Heath rugby club March 2017 , gymnastic training at Burgess Hill for girls School Feb 2017 .
·  Seasonal sprint was organised for KS2 children and KS1 & EYFS a winter wander at the end of Autumn 2 term. Children donated money.
·  Running club was set up for KS1 & KS2 children by Claire Hooper this is linked to Crawley running club and Crawley park run. A running club display board has been set up showing the ch with new PBS .
·  Netball club started Jan 2017 by trained coaches Siobhan Nicol
·  CM has attended level 3 Forest school training April 2017, outdoor first aid training March 2017. CM due to attend overnighter camping weekend in September 2017
·  Yr5&6 children took part in a regional basket ball competition were we came 7th out of 16 , this was a fantastic achievement .
Analysis of Impact
The impact has improved/increased the profile of physical fitness, sport and healthy living through out the school. The children are able to accept winning and being runners up in intra school festivals .
The impact of taking part in local competitions has really improved their social, emotional and well being. The children are proud of representing their school. They understand the importance of trying their best and work as a team and not individuals which has enhanced their own self esteem.
Shiny stars club as improved the children’s coordination, they have had the confidence to try new physical activities, which they would not have done previously and they were able to do a performance to the entire school at assembly time.
The impact of the dance club is that the children have a passion and enthusiasm to learn new skills and dance routines this club as grown and she now as 10 paying children on a Friday afternoon.
Netball club was organised as a paying after school club every Friday. The children really enjoyed this club and this enabled the children to have the knowledge to play in local matches with other Crawley schools and build up their confidence and love of the sport.
Forest school ethos will help improve children’s, confidence, ability to listen and engagement within class.
The impact of organising the Seasonal sprint and Winter wander helped raise money to buy new playground equipment which the children are enjoying using in their break and lunch times.
The impact of the running club has improved children’s fitness and endurance , a lot more children are joining the club and will often attend the children’s park run at Tilgate on a Sunday.
Teacher have become more confident in their subject knowledge to teach and plan a range of gymnastics and tag rugby lessons .

Proposed Further Actions
·  Contact premier sport club paying sports clubs after school
·  Buy new netball posts.
·  Introduce Forest School practice into the KS1 and EYFS, starting from October 2017
·  Organise another Skipping workshop in July 2018
·  Continue to build up fitness levels through out the school
·  Continue running club
·  Start up run a mile every day.
·  Lunch time fitness clubs
·  Organise an after school club with the Crawley Cagers.
