CLUB RUN

Achieving More in Road Running

We have an initial allocation of 30 free places available to clubs. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that all applications will be successful. Places will be offered based on meeting a number of selection criteria with final decisions being made by England Athletics.

  1. Eligibility - To be eligible for one of our 30 free Club Run places your club must be affiliatedto England Athletics in the current membership year (April 2016-March 2017) with at least 50% of your membership registered with England Athletics. NB.The programme is targeted at off track/road running clubs only. Track and Field clubs with road running sections would not be eligible to apply on this allocation.
  2. Geography – As this is a national programme we want to ensure there is a good spread of clubs represented from across the country. Therefore, applications will be looked at within each region to ensure a spread of activity.
  3. Strength of Application - Tell us why you think your club would benefit from Club Run.
  4. Commitment to work towards a specific event – Preference will be given to clubs working towards England Athletics road championship races, however other UKA affiliated races will also be considered. Note most England Athletics road running championships are hosted within events with a wide range of participant abilities and aspirations.
  5. Submission by deadline Applications should arrive no later than 29th June, 2016.

*Please note that only one submission per club is permitted.
