REGIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE – NEW JERSEY

Position Objective

This position is responsible for generating sales for heavy duty vacuum trucks, repair services and parts to commercial customers. The position will focus on growing salesfor equipment, rental, parts and service, with new/existing customers.

Job Responsibilities:

•Scheduling appointments and visiting existing customers to review product needs and determining other opportunities with the commercial market.

•Providing part/product quotes as required

•Promote and demonstrate all product lines, to include but not limited to: Industrial Vacuum Trucks, Pipeline Inspection Equipment and accessories.

•Promote the rental and sale of all equipment

•Generate new customers and explore new markets as directed

•Continuously update customers on part/product changes and modifications

•Promote service, maintenance, and rebuild capabilities

•Provide solutions to customers’ problems

•Attend local Trade Shows and Conferences as directed

•Part/Product introduction and demonstrations as required

•Liaison between customers and the company for up-to-date status of service, pricing and new product release launches

•Performing maintenance and updating of customers’ accounts including contact names for future sales in both CRM and NDS.

•Keeping up to date on new products, services, procedures and tools by attending training and departmental meetings

•Provide information from the field as it relates to competitive product pricing and trends

•Other duties as assigned

  • Meeting and exceeding facility key measurements to insure profitability and future growth

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a heavy equipment or truck dealership environment, specifically in commercial sales and rentals.
  • Proven track record of success selling to commercial entities
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, organize and motivate in a high-performance work environment to achieve established goals while maintaining respect for people and our customers
  • Proven track record of customer focus
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and solve problems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (listening, verbal and written)
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, etc.
  • The ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and be capable of maintaining the requirements needed to drive company vehicles as they pertain to the job at hand. This would include company pick-up trucks/vans.
  • Applicant must be based within a 50 mile radius of Somerset, NJ or be willing to relocate.
