Account Executive - Wealth Management

Located in New York, we are one of the fastest-growing technology companies in Ontario. We are expanding quickly and seeking a Technical Implementation Specialist to help sustain that growth by creating content that turns prospects into Doxim users.

Job Definition:

The Account Executive will actively work with the Marketing and Sales Teams to drive various initiates to create client demand across the Wealth Management vertical and achieve assigned revenue targets that contribute to the team’s overall revenue goals.

You will:

  • Execute territory business strategy to generate revenue;
  • Sell technology-based customer communication solutions to the financial services industry to increase company’s annual recurring revenue
  • Prospect, develop and close new business opportunities within assigned territory to achieve quota;
  • Leverage existing relationships and effectively manage resources ;
  • Attain quotas and objectives, while contributing toward team targets and goals;
  • Maintain a consistently high level of outbound activity to ensure adequate pipeline development to achieve quota;
  • Ensure that sales activities are consistent with sales and operational processes;
  • Use CRM system as an effective sales tool and data repository, and maintain accurate customer and prospect information

Must Haves:

  • Proven sales person with a track record of sales forecasting, exceeding sales quota and revenue goals
  • Software/SaaS sales experience with long-term recurring revenue contracts
  • Knowledge of brokerage/wealth management operations, advisor facing technologies and/or middle office operations
  • High energy individual who enjoys a fast-paced, high growth entrepreneurial environment
  • Quick learner with demonstrated sales ability and passion for sales
  • Strong prospecting skills with ability to quickly develop trust with senior executives
  • Strong relationship management skills at all levels of the organization
  • Able to manage all aspects of the sales process: prospecting, formulating value proposition,
  • customizing presentations into needs based solutions, convincing of value and overcoming obstacles, managing RFPs, pricing and contract negotiations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of salesforce.com or equivalent CRM for day-to-day sales activity management
  • 7+ years selling software, SaaS or other technology-based solutions – prefer 10+ years
  • C-Suite sales of recurring revenue services
  • 5+ years’ experience at (or selling to) financial services/wealth management firms
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred

Great to haves:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Competent time management skills
  • Advanced communication skills – written and verbal
