Message from the Chairman
It has become very important aspect in the globalised world to get a glamorous position in the field of service Industry. The vast scope in the service Industries especially like Airline Hospitality and travel sectors has come with more number of job opportunities. The mission of this institute is to develop each and every candidate to the fullest of their potentialities and talents to bring best out of them that can be suitable to have a profession in those glamorous industries, through proper training, and experience. To provide adequate standard of their profession by our training this is imparted by skilled and experienced teaching staff. We assure you the best training and attention from Management and staff.

The basic purpose of education is to bring best in a human being, just like a seed which has got the inner potentiality to grow into a big tree, provided it is in a favourable environment. In the same way a student is not something to fill inside a vessel, but a lamp to light on. UNIVERSITY DETAILS
Bharathiar University has established at Coimbatore by govt of Tamil Nadu, Feb 1982 under the provisions of the Bharathiar University act of 1981. The PG graduate centre of University of Madras which was functioning in Coimbatore before 1982 formed the core of the Bharathiar University. In May 1985 the university received the recognition from University Grants Commission (UGC) New Delhi for the purpose of the grants.
The Act section 25 chapter XIV empowers the syndicate to enter into an agreement with central and state Governments and Private managements apart from specified purpose/ any other purpose not repugnant to the provision of this act and also empowers to institute university Centres. Accordingly the syndicate of the University in its meeting held on 08.11.2006 has approved to establish interaction with industry to undertake and conduct courses under University Industry Interaction programmes and later, the syndicate in its meeting held on 23.06.2008 renamed as the Centre for Collaboration of Industry and Institution (CCII) as a constituent to identify and approve institutions to offer various Certificate, Diploma, PG Diploma, Advanced Diploma, UG Degree and PG Degree courses as approved Institution Programmes and Distance Learning Programmes under centre for collaboration of Industry and Institutions programmes utilizing their faculties and facilities by entering into a Memorandum of Understanding.
Management
The Academy of Aviation and Professional Excellence, Calicut with its mission of imparting professionalism in education, having 09 years of experience in the field of education and do maintains consistency in placement records. The academy is registered under society.
CHAIRMAN
Mr.RonyJohn.T the Chairman of the College started his venture into education field and was good enough to obtain affiliations from various Universities in Kerala and abroad. He took more initiative to popularise Airline education in the home town.
SECRETARY
Mrs. Therese Rony, the secretary, an educationalist and with her support to curricular and extra-curricular affairs has been good. She has been taking decisions in matters concerned with over all discipline of the college and financial matter.
PRINCIPAL
O.MaheshMBA, started his teaching profession from 2001 onwards as MBA faculty and Head of Department in Manipal Study Centre, Calicut. He has joined in this academy on March 2007 and as a Principal of Academy of Aviation and Professional Excellence, Calicut.
Being an educationalist, and qualified with varied experience and exposure, he himself a role model for young generation. Being a personality and Language trainer he has motivated students of this academy to enjoy various positions in airline and hospitality fields.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR UG/PG DIPLOMA COURSES
Application forms can be obtained on payment of Rs.400/- for UG, Rs.500/- for PG and Rs.200/- for Diploma courses.
The serial number on the Application form should be quoted for any reference. The Registration slips/ Cards must be kept safely.
A self-addressed post cover with Rs.5/- stamp should be enclosed along with application.
Registration of a an application does not guarantee admission.
Application forms without marks will not be entertained.
Interview cards are sent by post at the risk of applicants. Receipt of an Interview card does not guarantee admission.
Admission is subject to confirmation after personal interview and candidate who fail to appear on the date of the interview forfeit their admission. Interview will be conducted only for card holders.
While coming for the interview the candidate should bring the following original certificates.
1.The selection intimation card
2.Mark sheets/Grades/Degree or Provisional Certificate
3.Transfer certificate
4.Conduct certificate from the Head of the last Institution
5.Community Certificate (BC/MBC/SC/ST)
6.Migration Certificate.
Candidates who have passed examinations other than Tamil Nadu Higher secondary Board, Central Board and All India Board should obtain necessary Eligibility Certificate.
Admission is subject to verification of Mark Certificate by the director of Government Examinations and if the mark certificate is found to be bogus, admission is liable for cancellation, besides criminal action being taken.
Candidates are directed to take sufficient number of the attested copies of all certificates before joining the college. On no account the certificates will be given back after submission to the office.
Candidates finally selected in the interview will be admitted on payment of the prescribed fees after which their names will be entered in the rolls of the college. Fees once paid will not be refunded at any cost.
Note:
. In case of student discontinuing in the middle of the year he/she has to pay the full fee amount to collect the transfer certificate.

UNIVERSITY EXAMINATIONS
At the end of each semester, the University conducts regular examinations for UG/PG Diploma Programmes. The students who have earned 75 percent of the attendance in each semester are permitted to appear for University examinations a student should secure minimum 50% marks in the examinations. In case of PG and 40% in service oriented career in the hospitality Industry. The course prepares students for many job opening positions.

DEPARTMENT OF HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT
BBA Hospital Management degree course at Academy of Aviation is designed to make the candidate good enough to take up a career in Hospital Industry which comes under the need service industry. The students will learn about management Principles, English language and communication and medical Terminologies.
The course highlights the importance of Hospital and health system, History and evolution, hospital operation management, marketing management, health economics, environment and ecology, quality in health care, HRM, Financial Management along with project Training.
The candidate will be also aware of Public relations, medical ethics, with practical oriented training like, seminars, workshops, symposiums and group discussions.
DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE
B.com professional accounting degree course at Academy of aviation and professional Excellence is designed to enable the candidate to make aware of the globalised trade and comprehensive commercial aspects. The syllabusis designed to make candidate aware of international trade and commerce, Business environment, marketing strategies and e commerce. The module is formed with highlighting the relevance of E Transactions and accounting software available for ERP in an organisation. The syllabus includes production and operations Management, strategic Technology Management, supply chain and logistics management.
Apart from the above personality development and language skill development are also provided with the course and materials.
CONFERENCE AND SEMINAR HALL
A well designed and spacious conference and seminar hall are equipped with needed facilities to conduct seminar and conferences with high end gadgets.
Students are asked to note of the following
- Possession of camera cell is strictly prohibited in the campus. Use of cell phones inside classroom is strictly forbidden.
- The use of alcohol and drugs will cause dismissal from the college
- Smoking is strictly banned in the college
- Ragging is totally banned in the college premises and punishable according to the order of the govt of Kerala
