Leadership Team Meeting Minutes

Treasurer report: ICCL Deposit

PNC Checking Account

Kristina Vogt will go with Zachary Mocek to the local PNC bank to put him on the account. Kristina will then take herself off of the account since she will no longer be an officer. Once the next treasurer is selected, Connie will coordinate with him/her to put them on the account as well as take herself off.

Office of Catechesis Report- Erin

  • NCCL incentive available 20% member credit (new)
  • Feb 28 Day of Reflection; 12 registered as of now
  • Sept. 9; 2nd Annual Catechist Day & Ministers of Evangelization (School/Preschool) @ Seymour; 9-3 pm
  • March 7- PARE meeting- St. John’s Bloomington

Deanery Reports

  • South- May 6 Marriage Enrichment Day (Noon-5pm) “Mystery of Marriage’ @ Nativity, early March Registration (Michelle R.) w/ lunch
  • Batesville- 179 students at Rally last week/ Movie theater rent outs: ‘The Voiceless” for youth/working on getting large group to go to Stubenville (4 buses)/ Looking at bringing Christopher West for Deanery.

Constitution

  • Approved and updated on website

NCCL

  • Membership incentive
  • Representative for 2017-2020, select for now and make plans for future voting for diocese in Indiana. Indy chose rep this time (Evansville deferred to Indy) Michelle Ross unanimously selected as Representative.
  • Communication- Pam D. will help Michelle with rep process subcommittee
  • Payment for future travel for fall meeting etc.

APCL Discussion

  • Professional organization whose propose is to network and for collaboration
  • Offer opportunities to grow professionally, in faith knowledge, prayer life, planning, need to offer support b/c apart we are islands (especially part time and out lining areas)
  • Used to do: winter retreat and fall day (spiritual growth) reinstate fall day
  • Have we asked those who didn’t re-up this year? Part time and volunteer
  • Promote communication opportunities, scholarship availability
  • Intellectual formation talk day (lecture style) smaller scale symposiums- place to gather with people.
  • Spiritual and professional growth and network collaboration.
  • Record meetings to be able revisit, or watch if you missed them.
  • Website upgrade- blog and post videos.
  • Experiment with March meeting-
  • OCE meetings- what topics to you want - (for a possible blog)
  • Table for future discussion

Scholarships

  • Discussion on who can apply and if there should be a limit on giving.
  • 200/year or more tims a year.
  • Due a week before our quarter meetings-- standing agenda item
  • Formed a Budget/ Scholarship subcommittee of Connie and Michelle to review and improve scholarship form. Will share at May meeting.

Elections

  • 3 spots to fill
  • Nominations will start Feb 21 (kara will email)
  • Elections start April 11 (kaitlyn will email)
