New members join advisory committees
Future Earth has appointed 13 new members to its Science and Engagement Committees ahead of their annual meeting in Montreal, Canada. These experts work around the world from Trinidad and Tobago to Kenya and on far-ranging issues, including sustainable cities, antibiotic resistant bacteria and trade and tourism. Read more...

Future Earth signs new partnership with IPBES
Future Earth and the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) have launched a new partnership to shape research on natural resources– and the people who depend on them. Apply to serve on Scientific Steering Committees
Three global research projects of Future Earth have announced that they are seeking new members to serve on their Scientific Steering Committees. Send in your applications to International Global Atmospheric Chemistry (IGAC) by 31 March, the Global Land Programme (GLP) by 1 April and Past Global Changes (PAGES) by 3 April.

At a recent United Nations meeting, representatives from Future Earth and the International Council for Science (ICSU) delivered a statement on behalf of the scientific and technological community. Future Earth vacancy: Science Officer (Paris)
Future Earth is looking for a new Science Officer to be based in its hub in Paris. Contribute to global sustainability by working on the interface between science and policy, helping to coordinate Future Earth's Knowledge-Action Networks and attending meetings in France and abroad.
