Warranty

ETI warrants all products against defects in materials or

workmanship for 3 year from time of delivery, ETI sole

obligation under the warranty is to provide parts for the repair, or at

its option, to provide the replacement product (excluding labor).

Thebuyer shall have no other remedy. All special, incidental, and

coincidental damages are excluded.

The warranty does not cover damage resultingfrom improper installation or maintenance, accident or misuse. The

warranty does not cover damage resulting from the use of cleaning,

disinfecting or sterilization chemicals and processes. The warranty

also does not cover light bulbs.

About ETI Dental Unit

The ETI unit comes as a standard with 3 modules plus syringe (more modules can be added in the factory or after installation). The Modules are controlled by the main Unit blocks. These blocks are the Heart of the units and they unique to units made by ETI. Among other significant advantage there is the ability to work under demanding conditions but yet causing minimal wear. You can install in your Unit a wide variety of other handpieces and accessories whenever you wish to.
Most types of ETI units (except SuperTek Model) supplied with porcelain tray in different sizes. The porcelain material has ideal resistant for cleaning / disinfecting material whileit keeps the unit white all the length of its life. Holders are provided as standard are the S&C holders which are designed to improve the grip of the handpieces much as possible and prevent them from falling down. The holders are removable for cleaning without the need for changing the mechanism itself.

Activation of the ETI Unit:

The features:

Power On/Off Button

The ETI unit has two power on/off locations:

  1. The power on/off button, on the chair base / Junction box.
  2. The master on/off toggle on the right side of the Unit.

The S&C Holders

The handpieces automatically activate when you lift a handpiece from

its holder or pull downThe handpiece in the SuperTek Model. And for start working Press the foot pedal, for cleaning the shell can be removed by a firm push up.

Foot Pedal

The foot pedal is the main control of the handpieces, normaly its adjust the power of the handpieces.

(A) Chip Blower/Accessory Button

Unit Arm Lock

The unit arm lock enable the user to change the height of the working tray,

There are 2 kinds of locks:

a)Normaly locked arm –arm can be moved up or down only upon pressing

b)Lock On/Off – enable the doctor to chose when to lock the arm

  • locked the arm for preventing sinking down of the arm .

Control Panel

The control panel is the hand commander of the Chair&Unit electrical features, the following table will describe every option:

  2. ETI Unit with every other chair

Adjustments

Handpiece Water Flow

The water flow control adjusts the water flow forall the handpieces.

Use the adjustment control or the toggle to adjust the water flaw.

1. Lift the handpiece from the holder.

2. Locate the water flow control.

3. Turn the water flow on.

4. Press the foot pedal to activate the handpiece.

5. Turn the control to the left to increase flow.

6. Turn the control to the right to decrease flow..

7. Adjust the water flow as wanted.

Handpiece Spray Flow

The Spray flow control adjusts the Air flow forall the handpieces.

Use the adjustment control or the toggle to adjust the Spray flaw.

1. Lift the handpiece from the holder.

2. Locate the Air flow control.

3. Turn the Airflow on.

4. Press the foot pedal to activate the handpiece.

5. Turn the control to the left to increase flow.

6. Turn the control to the right to decrease flow..

7. Adjust the Spray flow as wanted.

Syringe water flow

On the Back of the unit panel the is adjustment control of the syringe water flow.

1. Press the water button on the syringe to activate the water flow.

2. Turn the control to the left to increase flow.

3. Turn the control to the right to decrease flow

Pressure meter

On the left side of the unit panel the is the Pressure meter.

The Pressure meter give real time indication of the in tube pressure, ideal pressure is changing according handpiece manufacturer instruction .

Clean water system (option)

The water quality has direct effect on the lifetime of the handpieces .

For maximum lifetime it is recommended to use clean water system.

The clean water system enable the handpieces a regularly supply of clean water (recommended soft water that contains few or no calcium or magnesium ions).

Filling the buttel with water:

1. Switch the toggle off (do not touch other buttons)

2. After air exit, the bottle can be relased.

3. Fill soft water about 80% of the tank capacity

4. Reattach the bottle.

5. Switch the toggle on.

6. Lift the handpiece from the holder& press the foot pedal until water exit.

Maintenance

Flush Tubings

After each patient:

1. Disconnect the handpieces before flushing the tubings.

2. Gather handpiece tubings that use water coolant and hold them

over the sink.

3. Hold the tubings so that the water is directed away from you and

into the sink

4. press the foot pedal for 40-50 secondes to relese flushing water

5. reconnect handpieces

Suction filter

Clean the suction filer twice a day.

1. Pull out the suction hose

2. pull out the filter using the pole.

3. clean and reattached

* it is recommended to clean the filter hose once a week

Handpiece lubrication

Once a day lubricate the handpieces according manufrecurer instructions.

In most cases use an adaptor to connect the handpiece to oil tank

release oil for 10 seconds

Compressor fluid draining

In the end of each work day drain the compressor of fluids

On the bottom of every dental compressor there is a draining tap.

  1. Switch off the compressor
  2. Open the drain tap completely unit air flow stops.

Fluid collector – Junction.Box

Once a week drain water out of the Junction box fluid collector

  1. Shut off all electricity to the unit
  2. Open the junction box
  3. Locate the fluid collector
  4. Under the fluid collector cup the is a release pin
  5. Press release pin unit all water are drained of the cup.

Waste collector

On models that contain waste collector, Clean the collector once a month.

  1. Shut off all power to unit
  2. Place a bucket under waste collector
  3. Open collector by turning it counter clockwise
  4. Clean the collector

Unit oil collector

Once a month clean oil collector and change cotton roll.

Open cover counter clockwise clean and change cotton roll and close back.
