054-17 / 4 / CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING (previously circulated)
That the minutes of the meeting held on 1st March 2017 following minor amendments were a true record of what there and then transpired and were signed by the chair.

A discussion took place in relation to the Play equipment which is recorded at the appropriate agenda item.

The clerk reported that he had circulated the new good councillors guide and would print one out for Cllr. Thomas

059-17 / 9 / PLAY AREAS
1.  Abermule Play Area - PCCsite lease, steps and grant.
Cllr. Kibble gave an update as to the play area. The clerk informed the meeting that the necessary paperwork had been submitted in relation to the lease for the new area.
2.  Llandyssil Play Area addition
Cllr. Kibble stated that the new additional to the play area in Llandyssil had been well received.
060-17 / 10 / LLANDYSSIL PLAY AREA INSPECTIONS AND BIN EMPTYING CONTRACTOR.
This was discussed the clerk stated that he had not had time to undertake the advert however it was on the website. The clerk was requested to produce an advert also ask Cllr. Williams if he would undertake the work in the short time.
061-17 / 11 / LLANMEREWIG BURIAL GROUND MAINTENANCE,PLANOF BURIALS & SIGN
The clerk reported that he had received a quote from the contactor which was the same as last year. Ten cuts @ £40.00.
RESOLVED
To renew the contract for the grass cutting also to request that the hedge receive attention next year at the appropriate time.
The clerk reported that he had not received any update from Pear Technology.
The clerk was requested to contact the company to enquiry the reason for the delay.
The clerk was requested to have some signs for the burial ground.
062-17 / 12 / COUNTY COUNCILLOR’S UPDATE
County Councillor Jones provided a written report a copy of which will be added to the web site.

Ø  Abermule Business Park update.
Ø  Signage Improvement at Green Lane & Llandyssil
Ø  Local Development Plan update.
Ø  Recent Local Capital Purchases by Powys County Council
Ø  Local Government Review.
Ø  Powys CC Budget update
As this would be C.Cllr Jones’s last meeting he was thanked for all his hard work over the years that he represented Abermule (with) Llandyssil Community Council.
063-17 / 13 / HIGHWAY ISSUES
The following matters were reported.
Ø  Fly tipping in the Llanmerewig area
Ø  Deflective light
Ø  T Junction opposite the hotel
Ø  White lining on Abermule to Kerry road

There had been no meeting the next meeting would be on 23rd May 2017

/ 15 / REPORTS OF COMMITTEES ATTENDED
Cllr. Jones reported that she had attended Llandyssil Hall meeting where she was thanked for the grants from the Community Council.
Cllr. Rees reported that she had attended the Centre committee meeting where the change of rooms had been discussed. The current committee room would be moved as that room would be used for the play group.

Cllr. Kibble reported that a grant had been secured to employ a footpath officer
