FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

A totally different approach to the calendar game. Will people buy it?

/An all-Asian calendar?!

October 4, 2017

Toronto, ON Canada – Local HIV/AIDS service organisation ACAS (Asian Community AIDS Services ACAS.ORG) has recently put together a unique charity calendar. It’s not your typical Man of the month calendar, no -it features Asian guys for one thing and a variety of them! With Asian guys getting little to no facetime in most mainstream media in North America this project totally spotlights Asian men –but will people buy in to it? It is also totally inclusive featuring real bodies, different generations and looks. ‘CauseAsians aren’t all the same! To top it off it’s very wacky and designed! Wet 2017 (the name of our calendar) is bright and bold is anything but basic!

They are currently crowdfunding and taking orders online at ingiegogo. (igg.me/at/wet2017

So far they have reached about halfway of their goal. The campaign ends October 27 2016.

ADD ON QUESTIONS FOR AUDIENCE

Do people want to see real people and real bodies?

Is the charity calendar a thing of the past?

What do you think is sexy?

“We hope it provides a closer and more realistic representation of how diverse the Asian and LGTB+ community can be –but in a completely fantastical way!”
