You must choose and submit at least one of the following activities to earn CPDU credit. (You may choose up to two additional activities to complete for extra CPDU credits. One credit will be awarded per activity.)

  • Investigate your ‘shape’ and the ‘shape’ of 2-3 other members of your team (school improvement, grade level, problem solving, behavior, PBIS, RtI, etc). Use that information to reflect upon who might best appreciate certain roles and responsibilities within your team as well as how each of you might work together. Identify and discuss specific/potential strengths, weaknesses, collaborations, and conflicts that may arise due to the ‘shapes’ on your team.
  • Complete a Venn diagram which delineates between coaching and consulting. (Template included or use your own.)
  • Write 5 (hypothetical) typical sentences of feedback that might be given to a teacher by an observer. Adjust those sentences or create new sentences to demonstrate effective ‘feedback’. The adjusted sentences should be carefully constructed questions and/or nonjudgmental responses to specific behaviors.
