A Bill to Expand the Increase the Earned Income Tax Credit

BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. The Earned Income Tax Credit will be expanded to workers without children and to increase the age range for low-income workers.

SECTION 2. A. The Earned Income Tax Credit for childless workers will be doubled to 1,000 dollars.

B. The age of eligibility will be lowered to twenty-one from twenty-five and increased to sixty-seven from sixty-four.

SECTION 4. The Internal Revenue Service will be responsible for the implementation and funding for this bill.

SECTION 4. This bill goes into effect upon passage.

SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.

amendment 602

A Resolution to AMEND THE CONSTITUTION TO GRANT VOTING RIGHTS TO U.S. TERRITORIES

RESOLVED:By two-thirds of the Congress here assembled, that the following article is proposed as an amendment of the Constitution of the United States, which shall be valid to all intents and purposes as part of the Constitution when ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several states within seven years from the date of its submission by the Congress:

ARTICLE I SECTION 1: The right to vote in federal elections for the President and voting members of Congress shall be extended to the citizens of Guam, American Samoa, Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

SECTION 2: This legislation will take effect in the 2020 national elections.

SECTION 3: The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

BILL 603

Immigration Reform Act of 2017

A bill to secure the United States border and provide a humanitarian pathway to citizenship for recent , undocumented immigrants

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

Article I: The number of border patrol agents will increase to 35,000 and the number of field ICE agents will increase from 5,000 to 15,000.

Article II: The DHS will allocate funds and supplies to the CBP for 200 drones, 2000 border cameras, 50 blimps, and 300 seismic sensors for border security.

Article III: A pathway to citizenship will be offered for Illegal aliens and their offspring if they have any children who were born in US and have US citizenship.

Section I: from the passage of this bill birthright citizenship will only apply to children born of one or more parents with citizenship, or immigrants with legal status

Article IV: CBP will oversee the implementation of biometric entry-exit visa tracking system in all land, air and sea ports.

Article V: $25 billion dollars will initially be provided for the Construction of a 1954 mile border wall that is 40 feet tall made of precast concrete.

Section I: The length and price of the wall maybe reduced due to natural barriers and already existing border protection.

Article VI: Mexico will reimburse the US taxpayer for border security initiatives.

Section I: The Internal revenue code will be amended to tax remittances at 20%.

Section II: A 20% border adjustment value added tax would be implemented

Section III: All foreign aid previously given to mexico will be used to pay for border security initiatives

Article VII: Anyone who illegally enters the country will be detained and deported immediately by ICE.

Article VIII: Any city or state which intentionally harbors illegal immigrants and refuses to cooperate with ICE and the DHS will lose all federal funding

Article IX: This law goes into effect july4th , 2017

Article X: All laws in conflict with this bill are hereby null and void.

The Obamacare Replacement Act

A Bill to repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and provide private health coverage reform.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

Article I: the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is hereby null and void.

Article II: Individuals will receive a tax credit and be able to place funds in non-taxable Health Care Savings accounts to save for future healthcare expenses.

Article III: Individuals will be able to purchase health insurance across state lines to ensure a dynamic healthcare market.

Article IV: Individuals will be able to stay on their parents health plan until the age of 26

Article V: To better serve low-income citizens medicaid funds would be block-granted to states so local leaders can maximize medicaid plans.

Article VI: Individuals and businesses will be able to come together in healthcare associations to be able to negotiate insurance plans with Insurance companies.

Article VII: This Law goes into effect January 1 2018

Article VIII: All laws in conflict with this bill are hereby null and void.

A Bill to Mandate the Usage of Cellphone Scrambling Devices in Cars

BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

Section 1.The installation of cell phone scrambling devices will be mandated by law so that cell phones will not be operational inside moving vehicles.

Section 2.A Scrambling Device will be able to block or disrupt cell phone signals while a vehicle is moving.

Section 3.The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will oversee this program. All trucks and cars must be fitted with scramblers by the date of implementation.

SECTION 4.This law will be in force as of September 1st, 2017.

Section 5.All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.

WHEREAS, The Supreme Court is comprised of nine members to prevent the possibility of a tie in a decision; and

WHEREAS, The founding fathers intended a separation of powers to prevent one branch of government from taking too much control; and

WHEREAS, When a Supreme Court vacancy occurs, it is the responsibility of the President to name a replacement; and

WHEREAS,If the Congress refuses to even consider a Presidential suggestion, they are usurping the balance of powers; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the UIL Congress here assembled make the following recommendation for procedures replacing Supreme Court vacancies that that recommendation is the duty of the sitting President and must be put up for consideration by the chambers of Congress

A Bill to Dismantle Voter ID Laws

BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

Section 1. No photo ID shall be required for citizens to vote at the state or federal level.

Section 2. Photo ID shall be defined here as a form of legal identification that has a person’s recent photograph and basic information present on the identification.

Section 3.

A. Individual states shall be responsible for administering voting.

B. The Department of Justice shall oversee voting in states to ensure equitable implementation of voting laws.

SECTION 4. This law shall take effect January 1st, 2018.

Section 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.

BILL 702

A Bill to Enact Equal Pay between Men and Women

Be it enacted by this congress that:

Section 1. The wage gap between the female and male genders will be immediately removed.

Subsection 1a. When the two genders are doing the same hours and same work at the same job, then they shall both receive equal payment for their work effort.

Section 2. Implementation of this bill will be overseen by the individual states countrywide.

Section 3. Congress will pass the bill and the US Labor Department will oversee it being enforced with the states reporting to the labor department.

Subsection 3a. Any businesses failing to implement this bill of equal pay will be sanctioned for the first offense and for the second offense; the Labor Department will implement steps to close the unequal pay gap.

Section 4. This bill will be implemented as soon as it is passed with a 6-month implementation period/grace period.

Section 5. All laws conflicting with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.

A Bill To ELIMINATE TAX EXEMPTIONS FOR RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS

BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

  1. Section 1.Religious organizations shall be taxed in the same manner as all other
  2. nonprofits.

Section 2.Religious organizations are those organizations which because of “church” status

  1. are granted total or partial exemption from taxation on church-related income or
  2. property.
  3. Section 3.The Internal Revenue Service shall oversee implementation of this bill.
  4. Section 4.This bill shall come into effect at the beginning of next fiscal year.
  5. SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this bill shall hereby be declared null and void.
