Roger Hicks

Write-Hand Man

Current360

As the Write-Hand Man (aka Director of Client Services / Copywriter) at Current360, Roger Hicks is a unique hybrid of creative bohemian and task-oriented project manager. As such, he must overcome his inner conflict as his creative side rarely wants to conform to deadlines while his management side doesn't realize why great ideas don't happen on schedule. Fortunately for the clients of Current360, a full-service advertising and branding agency, Roger’s knowledge of both areas enables him to deliver projects on point, on time, and on budget.

Prior to his nine-year stint at Current360, Roger was the Division Executive Director for the March of Dimes in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. During his 16-year career, Roger recruited, organized, and managed volunteers and staff to ultimately reach an impressive milestone of $2.25 million in annual revenue. Along with his team, Roger received the President’s Team Award five times for exceptional revenue growth and sustained profitability.

Roger, a member of Leadership Broward Class XVII, currently serves on the Foundation’s Board of Directors and has served as the Vice President of Communications and a member of the Executive Committee. In 2012, He received the CEO Award for his outstanding dedication to the mission of Leadership Broward.

He has received three Addy Awards for copy writing and has been honored by the South Florida Business Journal as a “40 Under 40” and “Up and Comer” honoree.

He and his husband Don live in east Oakland Park and have vowed to see the world. In their 10 years together, they have visited 19 countries.
