Windows 7 / Vista VPN connection setup

For Windows 7 / Vista 32bit:

1.  Please check if your system is Windows 7 or Vista 32bit version:

Right click “Computer”, choose “Properties”.

Windows 7 / Vista 32 bit : “32-bit Operating System” will show in “System Type”.

2.  Run the VPN connection setup for your OS : SCMP_VPN _Win7_Vista_32bit.exe

For Windows 7 / Vista 64bit:

  1. Windows 7 / Vista 64 bit: “64-bit Operating System” will show in “System Type”.
  1. Run the VPN connection setup for your OS : SCMP_VPN _Win7_Vista_64bit.exe

After launch the corresponding setup file:

  1. Setup will ask for installation confirmation. Press “Yes” to continue.
  1. And then the setup will ask if the connection is available for one user or all users for the computer. Press “OK” to continue.

  1. A shortcut named “SCMP_VPN” will be created after you finish the setup. Double click the shortcut to launch VPN connection.
  1. Press “Properties” and choose “I am already connected to the Internet” and press “OK”

How to connect to SCMP_VPN

  1. To start the VPN connection, double click SCMP_VPN Shortcut.
  1. Please enter your username, password and use “SCMP.NET” as “Logon domain” then press “Connect”.
  1. The VPN will be connected in few seconds and the “SCMP_VPN” connection status will show “Connected”.
