Special Exam Provision (SEP) Request Form
You should only use this form to submit a request to sit a special exam. You should submit your completed SEP request form and evidence by email to . Please do not submit a paper copy.
We will correspond with you using your LSE email address.
Before applying for SEP, you are encouraged advice about your options from the Student Services Centre Advice team:

You should still follow the normal deferral procedure (or submit Exceptional Circumstances if the exam has passed), even if you are applying for SEP. This will not preclude you from being considered for SEP.

You must submit your completed form and supporting evidence no later than five working days after the exam(s) concerned were due to take place. If your request is for more than one exam, this means the date of the last one involved.
If possible, you should submit all evidence supporting your request at the same time that you submit your SEP form (scanned copies are acceptable). Requests cannot be considered without appropriate evidence. If you are unable to submit evidence with your form, please contact for advice.

Requests for SEP can only be considered if a student falls into one of the two categories below. If neither of these apply to you, you will not be eligible – you should read the web pages on Illness and Exceptional Circumstances for information about what to do next.
