A sentinel is a soldier or guard whose job is to stand and keep watch. One of the main qualities of a sentinel is to be courageous. There are so many guards have received their nation's highest award for valor for their acts is situations leading to saving lives or expensive properties. However, being brave is only one quality. Another important quality of a guard is to be respectful. Obedience is the behavior where he follows instructions or orders from the authorities. He should not be treachery or to be a betrayed of trust.
A good quality guard when he does his job right, he will bring rapture to his officers and will draw a big smile on their faces. Part of his responsibilities is to verify if locations that he is guarding are secured at all times. He should be able to transform a situation of possible insecurity into a situation where people feel much more secured. Guards are trained to act professionally in situations where people could act rude to them. They are taught to control their temper and to rather admonish people to behave correctly and peacefully. Though it appears to be simple, obtaining this job requires so many skills that not many people can possess. Being a guard means being responsible to keep all the people safe. If anything happens to the people, you'll get in trouble. People don't really feel appreciate the time and should the guards have been keeping for saving us. They could be anywhere; malls, schools, or universities, etc.
In conclusion, being brave takes too much effort. People who specialize as guards or lookouts risk their lives just in the sake of protecting other people. The worst thing of being a guard is where he bitrates the trust given to him. So from now on, if you see a guard, seize the moment to appreciate his commitment to protect you.
