Visa regulations
Following is a list of countries whose nationals are enjoying non-visa/restricted non-visa regime to enter the Kyrgyz Republic:
Azerbaijan Republic, Albania, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Byelorussia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Republic of Kazakhstan, Korean Democratic People's Republic, Republic of Cuba, Macedonia, Malaysia (official and tourist purpose up to one month), Republic of Moldova, Mongolia, Poland, Russian Federation, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Socialistic Republic of Vietnam, Republic of Tajikistan, Turkish Republic, Ukraine, Croatia, Czech Republic, Yugoslavia, and Japan.
Nationals holding diplomatic and official passports of the following countries are exempted from visa requirement to enter Kyrgyz Republic for the period up to one month:
Hungarian Republic, Chinese People’s Republic, Turkmenistan, Republic of Uzbekistan.
Nationals holding all types of passports of the following countries may obtain Kyrgyz Visas in the overseas missions and at the Consular Agency of MFA KR at the International "Manas" Airport in Bishkek on their personal request for the period up to one month, and are exempted from registration with the law enforcement agencies:
Australia; Austrian Republic; Kingdom of Belgium; United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; Federative Republic of Germany; Greek Republic; Kingdom of Denmark; State of Israel; Ireland Republic; Republic of Iceland; Kingdom of Spain; Italian Republic; Canada; Republic of Cyprus; Republic of Korea; Duchy of Liechtenstein; Great Duchy of Luxembourg; Republic of Malta; Duchy of Monaco; Kingdom of Netherlands; Kingdom of Norway; New Zealand; Portugal Republic; United States of America; Finland Republic; French Republic; Swiss Confederation; Kingdom of Sweden.

All other guests, who need Kyrgyz Visas, please note the following details and requirements. We also would recommend citizens of the above mentioned 28 countries to apply for Kyrgyz Visa Permit in advance according to these requirements:
· Please submit a photocopy of your passport (main page with photography) via email or fax for further processing.
· Submit the completed VISA APPLICATION FORM by email or fax. Proper completion of this form is required to enable us to process a visa.
· The processing of the visa takes approximately one week (five working days) on urgent basis or five weeks on normal application. Visa processing service would be provided by International Office of the Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transportation and Architecture (KSUCTA). The current visa processing fees are 60 USD for an Urgent Tourist Visa and 40 USD for a Normal Tourist Visa per person. Visa charges are paid in advance to International Office of KSUCTA via bank transfer to the account, which is given on the visa application form. This fee is non-refundable in case of cancellation, no show or rejection.
· Processed visa permits are submitted to “Manas” airport one-day prior to arrival and can be picked-up at the designated immigration counter in the arrival area. The rates of the Consular Services on account of issuance of visa to foreign nationals at the Consular Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic at "Manas" Airport are given forth below:
- Tourist and Ordinary Visa up to one month USD 60. 00,
- Transit Visa USD 55. 00.
