Note: Destiny Library Automation software offers school districts the ability to semi-automatically update student and faculty information in the Library database records to reflect information in the Student Information System. This is done through an XML process and requires that a .csv be generated and placed on the Destiny server at regular intervals.
Note: It will be the school’s and/or school district’s responsibility to extract the data file from the student information system or another system’s database in a comma-delimited (.csv) format, using the same field structure and file names each time, and place the extracted data at a location that the Destiny Application Server will be able to access.

User Defined Fields
These fields can be used in any way pertinent for your District. They can also be used when running reports to sort the information displayed.
Once populated via the patron update process, these fields will be consistent for the entire district or a group of sites within the district. If any of the five fields are unused at the district level, individual sites may utilize those fields.
