To become a certified food manager in compliance with the DOH requirements, individuals must successfully pass a certification examination administered by any approved Manager Certification Test Provider. This provider list can be found at:

http://www.doh.state.fl.us/environment/community/food/foodmanager.htm. It will be necessary to contact the approved test provider to obtain training dates, locations, and cost of the training materials and examinations.

Please note that in the July 19, 2005, notice of transmittal, the Department of Elder Affairs (DOEA) approved the availability of funding for specific training sessions. The unexpected demand far exceeded available resources. Funding is no longer available and it will be the responsibility of the provider to plan and budget for this required training.
