Biography People
1. Choose and read a biography book that is in your reading level.
2. You will be creating biography people made to represent your biography character.
3. When creating your biography person, be creative!
-Find an image of the character’s face. Insert it into a word document and enlarge it to make it “life-size”.
-Use a piece of large white poster board. Fold the sides in like a tri-fold.
-Write the character’s name neatly below the head.
-Use the folded sides to create clothing that opens like a vest. Make sure that it matches the style of your person.
-On the inside of the trifold include:
Person’s name
Important life dates
Important life events
Contributions
Problems/Solutions
-Add arms, legs, and props to complete your project.
4. When you present, you will briefly describe your person’s life. You may use notecards to help. Please make sure to include:
-Date and place of birth
-Family information
-Education
-Accomplishments/Obstacles
-What are they famous for?
-Why are they important to history?
-Death date, place, and cause of death
-Any other interesting facts
