·  Count birthday candles: Make cakes and put numbers on them. Children put candles on cake based on the number.
·  Count children at party: Roll number block, etc. to decide how many invitations to make.
·  Count birthday hats-make hats, children roll number dice to determine how many shapes to put on hat, roll another dice to determine shape to use.
·  Sort hats by color, shapes, style.
·  Sort coins or stamps for invitation.
·  Sort candles-use objects that show different size, shape, and color.
·  Pattern with coins, stamps, hats, cake, candles.
·  Hopscotch: Play the game displaying dots for extra support, dot and numbers for in process, numbers only for proficient.
·  How envelope might fly: zigzag, curvy, wavy, straight line, angle.
·  Halving/dividing cake slices among friends.
